Drainage Mesh Screen 14x20 cm Grid Mat (5 pcs) Made in Japan These heavy-duty mesh screens are an essential tool for any bonsai enthusiast, designed to sit perfectly over drainage holes to maintain a healthy root environment while preventing soil washout. Features: Engineered with a precise grid size that allows excess water to flow out freely, preventing water-logging and root rot while promoting healthy oxygen exchange. Built to withstand years of moisture, fertilizer exposure and root pressure without breaking down or degrading. How to Use: Cut a piece of the screen slightly larger than the drainage hole. Thread a small piece of aluminum or copper training wire through the mesh to create a "butterfly" or "staple" anchor. Push the wire ends through the drainage hole and bend them flat against the outside bottom of the pot to lock the screen firmly in place before adding your soil layer.
