This dust extraction hose is made from transparent polyurethane (PU) for superior puncture, abrasion and chemical resistance to dust hoses made from PVC. The hose is reinforced with a 35% heavier, helical spring-steel wire which is extremely flexible, kink proof and offers a small bending radius. The walls are made from 0.7mm polyurethane which is approximately twice the thickness of a standard PVC dust hose, to prevent chips and sharp off-cuts from tearing or puncturing the walls of the hose.The smooth, low friction inner surface ensures excellent material flow, minimises turbulence and is abrasion proof to ensure a long life, making it perfect for use with high volume dust generating machines such as planer thicknessers, table saws, woodturning lathes and router tables. The hose is transparent to allow for any obstruction to be spotted instantly, is UV resistant and will remain flexible in the coldest of workshops down to -40°C. The inner diameter of the hose is 63mm for the connection of industry standard dust hose fittings and machine ports. When fully extended the hose measures 2500mm and has a compressibility ratio of 3:1.
