Because this basket allows you to grind a bit finer, it enables a higher extraction that brings out new and interesting flavours from your beans. Pro tip: It also makes your medium to light roast beans truly shine. Good to know about this filter basket Like all our products, these filter baskets have been thoroughly tested. Based on that, we selected two types of precision filter baskets. Our 2-layer basket is the more accessible choice. Thanks to the extra filter layer, you still get the benefits of high extraction but with quicker, more consistent results and less risk. Super handy if youre using your Sage grinder, for example. Our 1-layer basket is more sensitive and requires extra precision and attention. Small changes are noticeable right away, making it perfect for experimenting, especially if you already have control over your grind.
