HandyTalker® is the original portable and waterproof AAC communication board designed to help you easily communicate your basic needs with loved ones. These boards are made of fiber-reinforced plastic, measuring 3 inches wide by 5.5 inches tall, and come with an included black lanyard. You can add more than one board to a lanyard by using a connector; however, only one board will fit within this specific lanyard. The boards are rigid, durable, and waterproof, so you don't need to worry about using them at the beach, pool, or in the rain. This specific device can be fully customized! **How to Build Your Own Card:** 1. Under the icons, you'll see a "YES" icon. Click to the right of this icon to display a list of available icons. 2. Once you select an icon, it will automatically load in the upper left-hand box. You can then click on the icon and drag it to your preferred location on the front or back of the card. 3. If the icon or word you want is not listed, please add it in the special instructions along with your email address or phone number. This way, I can send you a proof via email or text message. If you are unable to use the custom card builder, please email your requests to: [email protected]. I recommend using no more than 4 icons across and 6 down, as the board is double-sided and can display words for a total of 48 icons.
